We hope that your and your members are having a successful race season, and that you'll be adding our inaugural St Eds' Running Festival to your calendars!
St Eds' Runs - the Unique Bars Running Festival will be held at Abbeycroft Leisure's new Skyliner Leisure Centre in Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds. There will be 10k, half marathon, marathon and fun run options available to suit all ages and abilities on Sunday 29 October.
We're running an early bird entry fee system whereby our first ten entrants will receive a FREE race belt worth £10 - this is in addition to benefit from our rock-bottom early bird prices, which run until Friday 23 June and will see members paying just:
- £5 to run the 10k;
- £10 to participate in the half marathon;
- £15 to go the full 26.2 miles in the marathon, and;
- £3 to compete in the fun run, with a family ticket (one adult, two children) for £7.
All our races are chip timed, with medals and refreshments for all finishers. We have applied for a UK Athletics race licence.The festival is held in aid of Bury Town Pastors and West Suffolk Hospital's My WiSH charity.
Also open for entries is a new festival, RecoverRace! Held on Sunday 30 July in Risby, near Bury St Edmunds. The festival offers 12k, half marathon and fun runs so there really is something for everyone to compete in.
