Pacers Team runs the Mersea Island Race

By editor July 12th, 2017

A team of 10 Saint Edmund Pacers ran the Mersea Island Race recently.

The course takes you right round the Island with several long stretches of beach to run. A mix terrain: path, raised sea bank, shinkle and sandy beach and a short section of road.

13.4miles to the finish then a dip in the Sea to rest those legs - before fish and chips. A brilliant day out and one to remember for next years diary. Thanks to Tom & Sandra for reminding us all why this race is worth coming back for!
