To allow more people to attend the Ipswich -vs- JAFFA challenge the track will be closed on Monday 3rd June.

If you can possibly attend the event at the Northgate sports centre it would be good to see more Pacers.

The annual JAFFA -vs- Pacers 5k challenge will take place on Monday, 3rd June. This year it will be hosted at the Northgate track in Ipswich.

The event is only open to UKA affiliated club members. Those that wish to take part in the County Championships will have to pay a £2 fee on the night on collection of their race number. Those that do not wish to be considered in the County Championships do not have to pay the £2 fee.

The race also forms part of the Ipswich JAFFA Grand Prix race series.

The following schedule of events is approximate times but will do the best to ensure its kept to:

• 18:45 – Registration opens for Junior race outside on the track
• 19:00 – Junior 1500m race 19:05 – Senior race Registration
• 19:30 – Mens 5km race (over 20mins)
• 20:00 – Ladies 5km race (over 20mins)
• 20:30 – Mixed 5km race (sub 20mins)

All numbers and any payments will be processed on the night.

On Bank Holiday Monday (6th May) there will be no evening session but here will be a training session at 10:30am.
